VM600Mk2/VM600 Mechanical Protection and/or Condition Monitoring Systems
The VM600Mk2/VM600 ABE056 slimline rack is used to house the hardware for the VM600Mk2/VM600 series of machine protection and/or condition monitoring systems in the Vibrometer® product line.
The VM600Mk2/VM600 ABE056 slimline rack has a standard height of 1U and provides www.honeywell-diver.com mounting space (rack slots) for a single wide VM600Mk2/VM600 processing module (card pair) and a relay module (card).
This rack is particularly suitable for industrial environments where the equipment must be permanently installed in a 19-inch cabinet or panel.
Different versions of the integrated RPS1U power supply can power the VM600Mk2/VM600 ABE056 slimline racks from an external AC or DC power supply.
Both power supplies support a wide input voltage range.
The rack has an integrated backplane that provides electrical interconnection between the integrated power supply (RPS1U) and the installed VM600Mk2/VM600 modules (cards).
The rack also has a power check relay on the rear of the rack to indicate if the integrated power supply is functioning properly.
The VM600Mk2/VM600 Processing Module (Card) is mounted at the front of the rack and the associated Input/Output Module (Card) is mounted at the rear of the rack.
The input/output modules (cards) provide connectors for connecting sensors/measurement chains and for sharing various signals with external systems such as DCS or PLC.
In general, the VM600Mk2/VM600 ABE056 Ultra Slim Racks are factory-configured before shipment and are therefore ready for use.
Optionally, each module (card) can be reconfigured to meet the needs of a specific machinery monitoring application.
Each module (card) can be reconfigured to meet the needs of a specific machinery monitoring application using the appropriate software package from Meggitt Vibro-Meter: VibroSight® or VM600 MPSx.
